Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your Tanzania expedition with us.

For peak season travel (July–October during the Mara Migration), we recommend planning 6–9 months in advance to secure your preferred lodges and route. For low-season or short-notice travel, we can often accommodate bookings with 4–8 weeks notice — contact us and we'll let you know what's available.

Yes — 100% private vehicles on every safari. Your 4x4 is exclusively yours and your group for the entire trip. We never combine guests from different bookings in the same vehicle. This means you set the pace, choose where to stop, and spend as long as you want at each sighting.

All our Kilimanjaro packages include: 2 guides per group, 1 mountain chef, 8 porters per group, all national park and conservation fees, camping gear, daily meals on the mountain, and airport transfers from Kilimanjaro or Arusha. International flights, personal equipment, tips, travel insurance, and visas are not included.

The Migration is year-round in the Serengeti ecosystem. For the famous Mara River crossings, July–October is the prime window. For the calving season (one of nature's most dramatic wildlife events), January–March on the Ndutu plains is exceptional. We offer specific 8-day packages for both seasons.

We focus on what we do best — the in-Tanzania experience. International flights and visa arrangements are your responsibility, though we're happy to advise on visa requirements (most nationalities get a visa on arrival or e-Visa), recommended flights into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), and arrival logistics.

We require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking, with the remaining 70% due 60 days before your departure date. We accept bank transfers and major payment platforms. All prices are quoted in USD. Full payment terms are outlined in your booking confirmation document.
