Wonderful Safari and Beach Experience with Komteshane Expedition!

Our trip with Komteshane Expedition to Arusha National Park and Zanzibar was absolutely amazing! We started our journey at kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and then Arusha National Park, where we were guided by a friendly and professional team led by Innocent Mtei.

The park was full of beauty — from lush green forests,  lakes, and Mount Meru views to exciting wildlife like zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and monkeys. We enjoyed a peaceful walking safari and even a canoeing experience on Momella Lake. It was a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s natural wonders.

After the safari, we flew to Zanzibar, where the white sandy beaches and tortoise waters gave us the perfect place to relax. We explored Stone Town, visited the Spice Farms, and enjoyed delicious local seafood. The sunsets in Zanzibar were breathtaking!

The entire trip was well-organized, safe, and unforgettable. We truly appreciate the hospitality and care from Komteshane Expedition.

Thank you, Innocent Mtei and the whole team, for giving us memories we’ll never forget! We can’t wait to come back.

We had a well organized safari thanks to Lara from Komteshane expedition. Our guide William carried out the extensive game drives very professionally and thanks to him we were able to admire the impressive wildlife extensively. We also learned a lot about the land, the animals and the inhabitants. We felt very well looked after and so we can only recommend Komteshane expedition!

The trip was fantastic. Our driver was excellent and we were able to see so many animals. We had some great hotels, Manyara's Secret and Manya Luxury Camp in the Serengeti.

I highly recommend Komteshane expedition! From planning our trip (totally customizable) , TS was so easy to work with! Once in Tanzania, everything went as planned & we appreciated how smooth pickups, transfers at airports & hotels were. Everything was well organized!
Our local guide for the six days was great & really wanted to make our experience complete by seeing the “Big five”. Our jeep was well built, comfortable & well taken care of (unlike other jeeps we saw!).
We did a few extra excursions (arranged by TS) & the guides we had were phenomenal & all Local! They were professional, informative & friendly.
The hotels/resorts/lodges we stayed at were exceptional…thank you TS for choosing these for us! All meals & food provided were amazing! The hospitality everywhere we went was superb. Komteshane expedition gave us a number that we could contact 24/7 in case we had any questions or problems arise.

An extraordinary experience for the whole family! We combined a safari then the beach in Zanzibar. Our guide, Charles, was really great. Thanks to him we were able to see the big five, full of animals and beautiful scenery. Our accommodations, especially the Whisper Serengeti, were great.
The beaches of Zanzibar are sublime.

Kilimanjaro through Komteshane expedition:
We absolutely loved our 6 day climb up the Marangu route to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. Our guides Joel and Naomi made this incredible experience unforgettable, they were very knowledgeable about the plants and animals as we ascended through different landscapes but more importantly they brought great humour and warmth to our journey. They were fantastic on summit day, guiding us through some troubles with cold and altitude but we were confident that we were in safe hands and they ensured that we successfully reached Uhuru peak. Would thoroughly recommend the climb, the sense of achievement and being off grid for a week was blissful. This was truly a trip of a lifetime! Everyone, I mean everyone, we interacted with through Komteshane expedition was so nice and helpful. Our safari driver, Rama, made the safari unforgettable. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and the culture. He made sure we saw the BIG 5 and had the best time while doing it. Our adventure with Komteshane expedition was nothing less than incredible. Our trip was completely magical and unforgettable from start to finish. Komteshane expedition made the planning process so easy and everything was very well organised and as expected when we arrived.
