Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka or Maji Moto, is a natural geothermal oasis hidden in the dry savannah between Moshi and Arusha — crystal-clear, warm spring water pooling beneath a canopy of fig trees, with tree roots and boulders visible straight through to the bottom.
It’s one of the most popular recovery days in Northern Tanzania, ideal after a Kilimanjaro climb or a multi-day safari, with a rope swing, resident “doctor fish,” and plenty of shaded space to simply relax.
